I have more than a decade of experience in media and higher education. My full-time jobs since earning my undergraduate degree in 1998 have included:

- Disc Jockey for Cox Radio (Athens, Ga.)
- Public Service Faculty for the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Georgia (Athens, Ga.)
- Assistant Professor of Mass Communications at Piedmont College
In addition to my full-time gigs, I have written freelance for more than a dozen publications, served as the public address announcer for sporting events, critiqued high school newspapers from seven states, reviewed textbooks for publishers, and shot and edited photos and videos for various events.
